As a homeowner in the Town of Tecumseh, you may be eligible for financial help to protect your basement from flooding.

The Town's Foundation Drain Disconnection and Backwater Valve Installation Subsidy Program provides the following:

• 50% of the total cost (up to a maximum of $1,060) to disconnect the foundation drain from the sanitary sewer, and/or
• 80% of the total cost (up to a maximum of $800) to install a backwater valve on the internal plumbing system of your home.
