Lakewood Park North Grand Opening

Lakewood Park North was officially opened Friday July 27 with a ribbon cutting ceremony taking place at the park. Residents, media, past and present elected officials and Dwight Duncan, MPP & the Minister of Finance were on hand to thank those who donated skills and money to the project, to talk about the history, vision and design of the park, and the future of the area. The next improvements will include a naturalized area, new stormwater pumping station and road improvements at Riverside Dr. and Manning Rd.
