Tecumseh Stamp and 1812 Peace Garden Opening
The community gathered on Thursday, June 21, 2012, at 10:00 a.m., as Canada Post honoured the great Shawnee leader, Tecumseh, with a commemorative stamp. Canada Post offials and local dignataries were on-site to for the official stamp release. The Tecumseh Area Historical Society also be celebrated the grand opening of its 1812 Peace Garden.
