TECUMSEH LAUNCHES BUSINESS SATISFACTION SURVEY
Tecumseh has launched its first ever Town wide Business Satisfaction Survey to poll more than 850 businesses. The survey includes questions regarding Town interactions, services and events offered by the Town and other agencies, as well as questions on transit, employment and future expansion. The goal of the survey is to help the Town develop connections to businesses as part of an overall economic development plan.
“Tecumseh is home to a diverse group of businesses including hundreds of international manufacturing organizations, industrial businesses conducting new and innovative initiatives, as well as various retail operations and restaurants,” said Gary McNamara, Mayor of Tecumseh. “Our strength comes from the success of our retail, commercial and industrial communities. We want to hear from them on what we are doing right and if necessary, how we might improve.”
The survey was sent electronically to all businesses in Town and should take approximately 10 minutes to complete. Information from the survey will be used by the Town to share information on government grants, business opportunities and potential advertising/promotion activities.
“We are asking our businesses to tell us what they think is great about Tecumseh and why they chose to operate here,” said Tony Haddad, Chief Administrative Officer. “We also want to know how we can best support them through engagement, collaboration, and partnerships. This survey gives our businesses an audience with Senior Administration that they may not normally have, to tell us how we can help them succeed.”
The deadline to respond to the survey is June 30 and results will be shared with Council at a future meeting date. Any businesses who have not received the survey or have further questions regarding it may contact Lesley Racicot, Manager Strategic Initiatives at 519-735-2184 ext. 150.
