Tecumseh Transit

The Town of Tecumseh is pleased to announce the introduction of public transit service.

Transit service was implemented on December 21, 2009.  In mid 2010, a six-month review of the transit system was conducted.  The purpose of this review was to identify whether any modifications to the route, schedules, bus stop locations and/or fare charges were needed.  The review identified key areas for improvement and enhancement.

The improvements to the transit system included revising the transit route/schedule to a circuitous route with 37 stops (with a one hour headway), along with new fare rates and the implementation of monthly bus passes.  All of these changes, resulting in the current transit system, were implemented on August 16, 2010.
