The 41st annual Tecumseh Corn Festival
is August 25-28, 2016
The Tecumseh Corn Fesival was once again named one of the Top 100 Festivals in Ontario.
Effective January 1, 2015, The Town of Tecumseh's Smoke-free Outdoor Spaces By-law bans smoking and the use of smokeless tobacco in certain public outdoor spaces. In 2014, HLT Advisory Inc. conducted a Case Study on behalf of the Town of Tecumseh and the Tecumseh Corn Festival. The intended use of the document was to provide the festival organizers with a combination of trends, best practices, and marketing tactics that will assist in driving increased local attendance and potentially enhance the visitation draw from attendees outside a 3-4 hour drive radius. The studey assessed opportunities for the festival to grow locally while at the same time become more relevant to potential overnight tourists visiting the region.
