Cheryl Hardcastle is serving her first term in municipal politics as Deputy Mayor and is a member of Essex County Council.

Cheryl was born and raised in Tecumseh to parents Isabelle (Dame) and Clarence Lesperance.  She is the proud mother of four grown children and has a strong committment to service in the community.

Cheryl was also the Editor of the Tecumseh Tribune for 18 years; a post she left in December 2010.
