Guy Dorion

Profile Councillor Guy Dorion represents Ward 2, the former Village of St. Clair Beach. He and his wife Maureen have been residents of Ward 2 for over 30 years and have two daughters, Bridget and Maggie. Guy Dorion was first elected to the Council of the former Village in 1985. Following the passing of then Reeve, Fred Cada, in April 1989, he became Reeve for the Village. Guy served as Reeve and Mayor for the Village until 1999. Since the amalgamation of the Town of Tecumseh with the Village of St. Clair Beach and Township of Sandwich South, in 1999, Guy was acclaimed Councillor for Ward 2 in 2003 and 2006 and was recently reelected in 2010. Guy retired from the Windsor Fire and Rescue Service after 32 years of dedicated service. His last position was Administration Emergency Planning Officer. |
