Our Mission
“Working in partnership with the OPP to identify safety issues in the Town of Tecumseh. We strive to develop and implement strategies to improve our community’s safety.”

Who is the TCPC?

The Tecumseh Community Policing Committee is comprised of local civilian volunteers, who reside within the municipality, and members of the O.P.P. The Committee acts as a link or liaison between the police and the community in the delivery of police services resulting from a community and police partnership that identifies and resolves public issues. The Committee meets on a monthly basis to discuss upcoming events and current policing issues. They are a representative of a diverse group of community members from all areas of the municipality, a wide range of age groups and all walks of life. These individuals are brought together by their common goal to create a safe and vibrant community.
