Tecumseh Leisure Pool

The Tecumseh Leisure Pool allows everyone to rediscover the playful inner life of children, as well as adults. With inspiring imagination, this experience will provide lasting memories for all.

Registration for Tecumseh Leisure Pool Swim Lessons will be accepted at the Tecumseh Parks and Recreation Administrative Office located at 12021 McNorton Street (Tecumseh Arena) starting on Monday, May 16th, 2011. Registrations are accepted in person or over the phone. To assist in processing the registration, please complete a Registration Form.

SWIM LESSONS:
The Tecumseh Leisure Pool 2011 Summer Swim lessons, offer a variety of Program Sessions and Class Ratios to meet the needs of all schedules.

There is a swim program for all levels with a variety of lesson times dates and times.
Parent and Tot – Fun quality time in the water between parent and child
Preschool – Ensures that children 3 to 5 years old become comfortable in the water
Swimmer – Children 5 to 12 years old develop swimming strokes and skills
Swimmer H4O – Smaller class ratio for children 5 to 12 years old
Swim Team – Learn proper strokes and compete in swim meets
Leadership Training – Advanced training up to and including lifeguard skills development
** Please refer to the Lifesaving Society Swim Chart to ensure that your child is registered in the correct swim program.

Private Swimming Lessons – Private lessons are an excellent way to obtain one on one time with a certified swim instructor. Whether its minor stroke correction or you feel this teaching environment would be more beneficial, we can meet the needs of any individual. Semi-private lessons are also available for those participating within one level of each other. For more information, call 519-735-4756.

RECREATIONAL SWIMS:
The Tecumseh Leisure Pool offers many different Recreational Swim programs including Open Rec Swims, Tot Time, Adult Lengths, and the new Aquafit program. Take advantage of a summer swim pass that entitles participant(s) access to all public swims throughout the summer.

POOL RENTALS AND BIRTHDAY PARTY PACKAGES:
Lacasse Park and the Tecumseh Leisure Pool is a great place to host your next family reunion or just relax for a lazy afternoon with friends. The pavilions and leisure pool are available for private rentals.

Let the Tecumseh Leisure Pool staff organize a fantastic birthday party for your child! We supply the fun and the food as well as take care of the clean-up! Party guests enjoy a swim in the pool followed by a private room for the guest of honour to open party gifts.
