Tecumseh Leisure Pool
The Tecumseh Leisure Pool allows everyone to rediscover the playful inner life of children, as well as adults. With inspiring imagination, this experience will provide lasting memories for all.
The Tecumseh Leisure Pool 2010 Summer Swim lessons, offer a variety of Program Sessions and Class Ratios to meet the needs of all schedules.
Swim programs include:
Parent and Tot – Fun quality time in the water between parent and child
Preschool – Ensures that children 3 to 5 years old become comfortable in the water
Swimmer – Children 5 to 12 years old develop swimming strokes and skills
Swimmer H4O – Smaller class ratio for children 5 to 12 years old
Swim Team – Learn proper strokes and compete in swim meets
Leadership Training – Advanced training up to and including lifeguard skills development
Private Swimming Lessons - Private and semi-private swimming lessons are a great way for your swimmer to get more one on one attention with one of our instructors. All you have to do is request private/semi-private lessons and they will be booked according to availability and pool space.
Semi-private lessons are available up to a maximum of 3 children per class who must not be further than one level apart. A minimum of 5 classes must be booked when registering. All private/semi private lessons run for 30 minutes.
Cost: Private $23.50/30 minutes; Semi-private $12.50 per person/30 minutes.
Swimming Levels - Please refer to the Lifesaving Society Swim Chart to ensure that your child is registered in the correct swim program.
Registration Forms will be accepted starting Monday, May 10, 2010 at the Tecumseh Recreation Office located at 12021 McNorton Street (Tecumseh Arena).
Financial Assistance - Tecumseh Parks and Recreation has partnered with several organizations to offer financial assistance to youth 17 years of age and younger to participate in recreation programs. For more information contact Tecumseh Recreation at (519) 735-4756 ext. 22.
