Hours for National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

Town Hall

The Tecumseh Town Hall will be closed on Friday, September 30 for National Truth & Reconciliation Day.

Payments may be dropped off at the Town Hall using the secure drop box located beside the main entrance on Lesperance Road – please clearly include your contact information (e.g. name, address, tax roll number, application and/or other identifying details to assist staff). 

Parks & Recreation

The Tecumseh Arena offices will be closed on National Truth & Reconciliation Day. The arena will remain open for all scheduled rentals.

Tecumseh Transit

The Tecumseh Transit Service will operate on its regular schedule on September 30. Information on the transit bus schedule and route map can be found on the Town's website.

Recycling / Yard Waste Collection

There are no changes to the regularly scheduled garbage, recycling, and yard waste collections. Please refer to your 2022 Waste Collection Calendar for more information.

National Truth & Reconciliation Day

Join Tecumseh Community & Recreation Services at Lakewood Park South on September 30th at 10am for an Orange Shirt Day walk in support of National Truth & Reconciliation Day and Caldwell First Nations. Tecumseh residents, along with students from Lakeview Montessori, are invited to wear orange and walk with us.
