Town of Tecumseh Lowers Flags in Memory of Her Majesty the Queen Elizabeth II

Tecumseh, ON - The Town of Tecumseh municipal buildings including Town Hall, Lakewood Park, and both Fire Halls have lowered their flags to half-mast today in mourning of the death of Her Majesty the Queen Elizabeth II.

“On behalf of the Town of Tecumseh, I offer condolences to the King and members of the Royal Family, as we mark the passing of our Queen, Elizabeth II,” said Gary McNamara, Mayor of the Town of Tecumseh. “Her long and dedicated service to Canada and the Commonwealth will resonate with us for years to come.”

Town Hall will be illuminated blue, and the flags will remain at half-mast until sunset on the day of the funeral.
