Town of Tecumseh Safety & Crime Prevention Walk 2022

Tecumseh, ON – As part of the Community Safety and Well-Being Plan, join the Town of Tecumseh, in partnership with Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Crime Stoppers Windsor & Essex County and the St. Clair Beach Optimist Club on a Safety and Crime Prevention Walk in Tecumseh on November 7, 2022. 

Tecumseh residents and business owners are invited to the community walk to learn how to prevent opportunities for crime, change the way they see and walk through their neighbourhood, and learn personal safety tips. Participants will have the opportunity to join in the discussion and ask questions to officials along the way. 

The Safety and Crime Prevention Walk will take place on Monday, November 7 from 5:00pm – 6:30pm to mark the beginning of Crime Prevention Week. Participants will meet at the Zehrs parking lot at the corner of Manning Rd & St. Gregory’s Road where officials from various agencies will offer commentary during the round-trip walk (approximately 2 KM) through Tecumseh, including Optimist Park. Safety and Crime Prevention Walk

Time:        5:00pm – 6:30pm
Where:      Meet at the Zehrs at 400 Manning Rd, Tecumseh, ON N8N 4Z4.

Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and dress appropriately for the weather conditions. All are welcome!
