Nominations for the 2026 Tecumseh Election Closing Friday

The nomination period for the 2026 Tecumseh Municipal and School Board Election closes on Friday, August 21, 2026 at 2:00 pm. Individuals hoping to run must schedule an appointment to submit their nomination papers to the Town before the deadline. Get more information and download nomination papers.

• Trustee - French Public, Conseil scolaire Viamonde
• Trustee - French Separate, Conseil scolaire catholique Providence Area/secteur 8 (Tecumseh Wards 4 and 5 & Windsor Ward 1 and LaSalle)
• Trustee - French Separate, Conseil scolaire catholique Providence Area/secteur 9 (Tecumseh Wards 1, 2, and 3 & Lakeshore Wards 1 and 2)

When can I vote?

Voting begins September 28, 2026 at 10:00 am and ends on October 26, 2026 at 8:00 pm. Registered voters will be mailed a letter in September with voting instructions to vote online or by phone. Get more information.
