Nominations Open Now for the 2026 Municipal and School Board Election

Individuals can file their nomination papers starting today, May 1, 2026, for the positions of Mayor, Deputy Mayor, Councillor, or School Board Trustee. The nomination period closes August 21, 2026, at 2:00 pm

Nominations must be filed in person at the office of the Town Clerk located in Town Hall, 917 Lesperance Road, Tecumseh, Ontario. Electronic submissions will not be accepted.

Appointments for nominations are required. To schedule an appointment, call 519-735-2184. Appointments are approximately 30 minutes.
