Storm Clean-Up

To assist with clean-up efforts related to the storm on Thursday September 3rd, the Town will be conducting a collection for fallen branches on Tuesday September 8th. Residents are asked to bundle branches (no yard waste materials) and leave them at the curb for pick-up. Town trees will be assessed for damage to limbs and removal conducted as required. Tecumseh Acknowledges North Macedonian Independence Day

Every September 8 marks North Macedonian Independence Day, a national holiday celebrating the country’s independence from the former Yugoslavia when citizens assembled and voted overwhelmingly in favour of becoming an independent state, later adopting a new constitution and becoming the Republic of Macedonia.

In recognition of this occasion, Town Hall will be illuminated the national colours of North Macedonia, yellow and red, and fly the North Macedonian flag from September 8 to 10, 2026, acknowledging the presence of North Macedonian Canadians in our community.
