Tecumseh Acknowledges Women Abuse Prevention Month

Every November is Women Abuse Prevention Month—a time dedicated to spreading awareness of how violence impacts women and girls. The need for this awareness is significant, with one in three women in Canada experiencing at least one incident of physical or sexual violence during her lifetime.

For the whole month of November, Town Hall will be illuminated purple, and a tree will be planted on the front lawn to amplify the Town’s support for women and girls and to join the collective call for action to end gender-based violence in our society.
