Tecumseh and Lakeshore Launch Commercial District Branding

The Town of Tecumseh and the Municipality of Lakeshore, in partnership with the Tecumseh Business Improvement Association, proudly launched the joint commercial area branding on Monday, June 29, 2026.

The launch event featured the unveiling of new roadside banners along the Manning Road commercial corridor within both Lakeshore and Tecumseh.

The banners and branding result from a collaboration designed to highlight the unique identity, character, and vibrancy of the Manning Road/Amy Croft commercial corridor and three commercial districts in the Town of Tecumseh, including: Lesperance North, Lesperance South, and Main Street.

The banners feature eye-catching designs, bold colours, and distinctive icons to highlight a wide range of businesses within the districts.

Unity and connection are the defining elements of the district brand, “Where Everything Comes Together.”

These districts are places where people and businesses come together to create good times and great shopping.

All banners and branded elements will be installed in the four districts later this year.

Quotes

“This vibrant branding reflects the pride that both Tecumseh and Lakeshore have for our commercial districts and all that they have to offer. The campaign message, ‘Where Everything Comes Together,’ speaks to the strength of partnership and the importance of local businesses for our communities, and inspires entrepreneurs and business owners to create unique and connected experiences in Tecumseh-Lakeshore for years to come. We are grateful to our provincial partners for investing in this collaborative project and enabling the vision to come to life.”
- Tecumseh Mayor Gary McNamara

“This branding is more than banners and signage. It is a celebration of local pride, local business, and the strong connection between our communities. Together, we are highlighting the energy, character, and potential of this corridor and the people, places, and businesses that help define it. It sends a clear message to residents, visitors, and investors that this is a place of opportunity, collaboration, and growth, regardless of which municipality you are standing in.”
- Lakeshore Mayor Tracey Bailey

“Small businesses are the heart of our commercial districts, and these new banners celebrate the important role they play in bringing people together. The collaboration between the Town of Tecumseh, the Tecumseh BIA, and the Municipality of Lakeshore demonstrates the strength of working together to promote our region as a destination for shopping, dining, and local experiences. With June 26 recognized as the Provincial Day to Buy Local, Buy Canadian, there is no better time to remind residents that every local purchase supports local jobs, local families, and a stronger community. Our message is simple: this is where everything comes together."
- Eddy Hammoud, Chair, Tecumseh BIA

"As a longstanding stakeholder and investor in the Manning Road/Amy Croft corridor, we are proud to be a part of the incredible growth and development that this area has experienced. It is great to see Tecumseh and Lakeshore come to together to help celebrate our shared success and continue to tell the story of the people and businesses that make it the destination that it is."
-Steven Valente, President, Valente Inc.
