Tecumseh Celebrates Ontario’s Physicians on Doctor’s Day
The Town of Tecumseh deeply expresses its gratitude to the physicians that dedicate their work to keeping Ontarians happy and healthy, including the 460 physicians represented by the Essex County Medical Society (ECMS) serving Tecumseh residents and advancing health care in our region. Additionally, their advocacy brings critical attention to the systemic challenges facing our healthcare system.
Every year on May 1 is Doctors’ Day—recognized by the Province since 2011 and chosen to mark the birthday of Canada’s first female physician, Dr. Emily Stowe.
Today, Town Hall will be illuminated in blue in honour and celebration of Ontario physicians.
