Tecumseh Lowers Flags in Recognition of the Wainwright, Alberta Tragedy

The flags at Town Hall, Fire Stations 1 & 2 have been lowered to half-mast today in recognition of the tragedy that occurred over the weekend at Canadian Forces Base Wainwright in Alberta. This tragedy has a personal connection to our community. One of the injured soldiers, Daniel Thrasher, is a former employee of the Town’s Parks Department, and his parents and siblings reside in Tecumseh. Our thoughts and prayers are with Dan, and his family, and all those affected by this tragedy.
