Tecumseh Observes Veterans’ Week November 5 to 11, 2026

In the lead-up to Remembrance Day, the Town of Tecumseh is observing Veterans’ Week from November 5 to 11, marking the 100th anniversary of the Royal Canadian Legion, while honouring Canadian veterans who bravely served in armed conflicts and remembering those who gave their lives. Their sacrifices and commitment have helped safeguard the values and freedoms that we enjoy today.

In commemoration, flags at all Town of Tecumseh municipal facilities have been lowered to half-mast and Town Hall has been illuminated red.

The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 261 will be hosting a Remembrance Day Parade and Ceremony at the Tecumseh Cenotaph (Tecumseh Town Hall) at 10:30 AM. Everyone is welcomed to visit the Legion after the service for an Open House.
