Tecumseh Recognizes National Legion Week

National Legion Week is happening September 20th to 26th, 2026 with this year marking 100 years of service of The Royal Canadian Legion, serving and supporting Canadian veterans across the country.

Every year around the third week of September, National Legion Week underlines the important role and contributions of Royal Canadian Legion branches and is an overture to Canadians to join in on their shared mission to honour and advocate for our veterans in our communities.

In recognition of National Legion Week and in support of the Col. Paul Poisson Branch 261 in Tecumseh, the Town of Tecumseh will raise a commemorative flag at Town Hall and will be illuminated blue during the week.
