Town of Tecumseh 2026 Victoria Day Hours

TECUMSEH, ON-The Town wishes everyone a safe and enjoyable Victoria Day weekend. Town Hall will be closed on Friday, May 15 to Monday, May 18, 2026 (Victoria Day). Some town services will not be available at certain times during the closure.

Town Hall

Payments may be dropped off at Town Hall using the secure drop box located beside the main entrance door. Please ensure the information on the envelope is clearly outlined (e.g. name, address, tax roll number, application and/or other identifying details to assist staff). As an alternative, the Town’s website also offers information about payment options.

Community and Recreation Services

The Town offices at the Tecumseh Arena will be closed Friday, May 15 to Monday, May 18, 2026 (Victoria Day). The Arena will be open for scheduled rentals throughout the weekend.

Join the Optimist Club of St. Clair Beach for their Victoria Day fireworks on Saturday, May 16 at Optimist Park. Fireworks start at dusk. You can find more details at https://events.tecumseh.ca/.

Tecumseh Transit Service

Transit service will operate as usual on Friday, May 15, 2026. There will be no transit service on Monday, May 18, 2026. Information on the transit bus schedule and route map can be found on the Town's website.

Garbage, Green Bin, Yard Waste and Recycling Collection

There are no changes to waste collection. Check your 2026 Collection Calendar for upcoming dates and more information.
