Powering Future Leaders Bursary

A $1,000 Bursary is to be awarded to four Grade 12 graduating students who are pursuing post secondary education in the areas of study that build and support our industry (i.e. Powerline Technician, Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) avenues of study).

CRITERIA

• Enrolled in a STEM industry program for Fall 2025 at a post secondary institution
• Reside in Essex Powerlines territory with an active hydro account
• Obtain a letter of recommendation (from teacher, vice-principal, principal, counsellor or coach, employer, volunteer organization community leader, mentor, etc.)
• Letter of Acceptance from a Post Secondary Institution
• Proof of enrollment required prior to paid bursary

CRITERIA CALDWELL FIRST NATION

• Enrolled in a STEM industry program for Fall 2025 at a post secondary institution
• Obtain a letter of recommendation (from teacher, vice-principal, principal,
  counsellor or coach, employer, volunteer organization, community leader,
  mentor, etc.)
• Letter of acceptance from a Post Secondary Institution
• Proof of enrollment required prior to paid bursary
• Subject to verification, the student must identify as Caldwell First Nation
