Family Day Hours and Services

Town of Tecumseh hours and services will be impacted this upcoming Monday, February 16, 2026, in observance of Family Day. Regular business hours will resume the following day.

Town Hall

• Tecumseh Town Hall will be closed
• Payments may be dropped off at the Town Hall using the secure drop box located beside the main entrance at 917 Lesperance Road – please clearly include your contact information (e.g. name, address, tax roll number, application and/or other identifying details to assist staff)

Parks and Recreation

• The Tecumseh Arena Office will be closed
• Family InMotion Day is on Monday, February 16, 2026. Bring your family to the arena for an afternoon of fun and games. Play interactive games from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm or join us for free public skating sponsored by Festival from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm
• Celebrate Family Day on ice with MPP Andrew Dowie at the arena on Monday, February 16, 2026, from 2:45 pm to 4:00 pm

Transit Services

• The Tecumseh Transit Service will not be operating Monday, February 16, 2026. Information on the transit bus schedule and route map can be found on the Town's website

Green Bin, Recycling and Garbage Collection

• There is no change to collection dates. Check the 2026 Collection Calendar for upcoming collection dates or download the Recycle Coach app
