Illumination: Veterans' Week November 8-11

From Friday, November 7 to Tuesday, November 11, Town Hall will be illuminated red in recognition of Veterans' Week. Veterans’ Week is a time to honour and remember the courage, service, and sacrifices of Canada’s veterans, active service members, and those who have lost their lives in the line of duty. It is an opportunity for all Canadians to reflect on the freedoms we enjoy today, made possible through their dedication in times of war, military conflict, and peacekeeping operations.

The Town of Tecumseh encourages residents to take part in acts of remembrance during this week, including observing a moment of silence on November 11, attending local ceremonies, and learning more about Canada’s military history.
