Illumination: Water & Wastewater and Stormwater Operator Appreciation Day

Town Hall will be illuminated blue on October 23 in observance of Water & Wastewater and Stormwater Operator Appreciation Day. 

The Ontario Municipal Water Association (OMWA) has designated October 23 as Water & Wastewater and Stormwater Operator Appreciation Day across Ontario.  

The Town of Tecumseh is proud to recognize the essential and often behind the scenes work of operators who monitor treatment processes, maintain infrastructure, respond to equipment issues, and ensure water quality meets the provincial and regional standards.  

Thank you to our Operators who work diligently to protect natural resources and prevent contamination, while also prioritizing flood protection, drainage, and safeguarding waterways.
