National Indigenous Peoples Day

In recognition of National Indigenous Peoples Day on June 21, the Town of Tecumseh will raise the Every Child Matters flag on Friday, June 20 at Town Hall. This day offers an important opportunity for reflection, education, and celebration as we honour the rich cultures, histories, and contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples across Canada.

The Town is proud to mark this occasion by raising the Every Child Matters flag, symbolizing our ongoing commitment to truth, reconciliation, and respect.
