Remembrance Day
On Tuesday, November 11, the Town of Tecumseh lowers flags to half-mast at municipal facilities in honour of Remembrance Day.
This solemn occasion pays tribute to the courage, service, and sacrifice of Canada’s veterans, active service members, and those who gave their lives in the line of duty. It is a time to reflect on the freedoms we enjoy today, made possible through their dedication and bravery in times of war, military conflict, and peacekeeping missions.
The Town of Tecumseh encourages all residents to observe a moment of silence at 11:00 a.m. and to take time to remember and honour those who have served and continue to serve our nation.
