Canada Day in Tecumseh 2025

CANADA DAY CELEBRATIONS
Join the Town of Tecumseh in celebrating Canada Day in Tecumseh’s Backyard with a full day of family fun on July 1st at three local parks. Enjoy a Family Picnic & Concert in the Park at Lakewood Park North (13400 Riverside Dr.) from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., followed by family-friendly activities at McAuliffe Park (2391 St. Alphonse St.) from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The celebration continues at Lacasse Park (590 Lacasse Blvd.) with a Rock n’ Swim starting at 6:00 p.m. and a Tecumseh Thunder baseball game at 7:30 p.m. You can find all the details here.

TOWN HALL 

The Town of Tecumseh offices will be closed on Tuesday, July 1 to celebrate the Canada Day holiday.
Payments may be dropped off at Town Hall using the secure drop box located beside the main entrance door. Please ensure information on the envelope is clearly outlined (e.g. name, address, tax roll number, application and/or other identifying details to assist staff). As an alternative, the Town’s website also offers online services and payments (www.tecumseh.ca).

TECUMSEH TRANSIT
There will be no transit service on Tuesday, July 1. Information on the Town’s transit service is available on the Town’s website.

TECUMSEH ARENA & RECREATION COMPLEX
The Tecumseh Arena office will be closed on Tuesday, July 1 for the Canada Day holiday.

GARBAGE & RECYCLE PICKUP
Recycling has moved from Friday, July 4 to Saturday, July 5. Please refer to your 2025 Waste Collection Calendar for more information.
