Tecumseh Celebrates International Women's Day (IWD)

International Women’s Day (IWD) is Sunday, March 8—a global celebration of the achievements of women and ongoing advocacy for equality, inclusivity, and advancement. 

This year’s theme “Give to Gain” is a worldwide call to contribute and emphasizes reciprocity and support—whether that’s by making a donation, sharing knowledge and resources, giving your time, advocacy, or contributing in other meaningful ways that advance the goals of gender equality and equity for women.

The Town of Tecumseh will raise the International Women’s Day flag today and it will fly throughout the weekend in a show of support for women and girls across the world.
