In accordance with the Ontario government's Roadmap to Reopen and allowing outdoor recreational amenities to reopen, the Splash Pads will reopen on Monday, May 31, 2021. Splash Pad users are asked to limit the splash pad surface to a maximum of 10 people at one time for a maximum of 30 minutes and keep a minimum distance of 2 m (6 ft) from each other.

Splash Pad Operating Hours: 10 AM to 9 PM, Mid-May to Mid-September (subject to weather conditions)

COVID-19 Return to Play Rules:

  • Do not participate if you are exhibiting any symptoms of COVID-19, have been in contact with someone with COVID-19, are considered vulnerable or at risk.
  • Keep your distance, stay away from others. Leave at least 2 metres of space between yourself and others at all times.
  • Wash / sanitize your hands and toys / equipment before and after using the splash pad. Bring your own hand sanitizer.
  • Avoid sharing toys or equipment with individual outside of your household.
  • If you cough or sneeze, do so in a tissue.
  • Avoid touching your face.
  • When possible activate the water feature button with your elbow.
  • Play safe and at your own risk.

Splash Pad Rules:

  • Splash pad operates on a timed cycle. To start splash pad, press the button located on the green post
  • Water shoes or sandals are strongly recommended
  • Pets are not allowed on the splash pad and playground area
  • All children under 10 years of age must have adult supervision at all times
  • No food, beverages, glass containers or breakable objects allowed on or near splash pad
  • For safety, infants and toddlers must use swim diaper
  • Do not use splash pad if you have an open sore or rash or are experiencing nausea, vomiting or diarrhea
  • No skateboards, roller blades, bicycles or scooters allowed on splash pad
  • Smoking is prohibited in recreational spaces throughout the park
  • Recreational water is not intended for consumption, avoid swallowing water from the splash pad
  • Swim suites and/or appropriate attire must be worn at all times
  • All users must conduct themselves in a safe, courteous, and family oriented manner. Running, horseplay, and other undue disturbances are strictly prohibited
  • Do not climb, swing or pull on the splash pad equipment
