Tecumseh Summer Day Camp

Come weekly or for the whole summer. Summer Day Camp is the perfect opportunity to meet new friends. Day Camp runs Monday through Friday; 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM during the school summer break. A supervisor is on duty from 7:30 AM until 5:30 PM to accommodate early drop-off and late pick-up schedules. Our staff is certified in First Aid and CPR with HIGH FIVE training the Principles of Healthy Child Development.

Activities include sports, games, drama, crafts, movies, special events, swimming, skating and more. A special events is scheduled every week which may include off-site excursions. Campers are required to bring their own lunch, snacks and beverages.

Ages: 5 - 12

Specialty Camps - Each week, a new specialty camp is offered that provides specialized instruction in the morning. Participants are required to register separately for Summer Day Camp if interested in attending the full day (this includes early morning drop off and late pick up times).

Important update: Registration has changed—participants must now be registered for full weeks (Monday–Friday). Individual camp days are no longer available.

Refund Chart

Policy

Missed program days cannot be made up and do not qualify for a refund. Program days interrupted by inclement weather, power failure, building evacuation, mechanical difficulties and/or poo; foulings will not be made up.

You may withdraw from a program up to 5 business days prior to the program start date by contacting the Tecumseh Parks and Recreation Administrative Office in person, by phone at 519-735-4756 extension 0 or by email. Consideration for all refund requests will be given as long as the request meets the criteria within the Refund Chart. All refunds will be processed in accordance with the chart below and request does not guarantee a refund. Please allow 4-6 weeks for refund processing. Please note, non-attendance and/or verbal notification to instructors/staff does not constitute a notice of withdrawal.

All requests for transfers must be received. in writing, 5 business days or more prior to the program start date. Customers will receive a full refund if they cancel at least 5 business days prior to the first day of the program. Refunds for course materials or excursions/field-trips/special events will not be issued if proper notification id not received. Program transfers are permitted if program space is available. You may transfer programs up to and including the 3rd day of the program.
