National Indigenous Peoples Day

June 21 is National Indigenous Peoples Day. Today, we recognize and celebrate the unique heritage, diverse cultures and outstanding contributions of First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples.

For generations, many Indigenous communities have celebrated their culture at the summer solstice – the longest day of the year. Today, we join them in celebration and reflection. Tonight, Town Hall will be lit up orange for National Indigenous Peoples Day.
