The 2024 Interim Tax Notices will be mailed out by Tuesday, February 6 and you should expect them in your mailboxes in the days following.

If you have not received your tax notice(s) by February 13th, or have questions with respect to your notice, please call 519-735-2184 and select option 2.

Municipal tax rates are established by Town Council once the annual budget has been approved.

School Board tax rates are established by the province.

County tax rates are established by Essex County Council.

The interim tax installment is calculated at 50% of the previous year's total amount of taxes and is generally mailed out to all residential and non-residential property owners in January.

The final tax installment is calculated using the assessed property value and approved tax rates, less the interim tax billing.  These are mailed out to residential property owners in May and to non-residential property owners in August.
