Holiday Hours and Services 2023

Town Hall

The Tecumseh Town Hall will be closed from Saturday, December 23 – Monday, January 1. Any online applications received during this period will be received but not processed.

Payments may be dropped off at the Town Hall using the secure drop box located beside the main entrance on Lesperance Road – please clearly include your contact information (e.g. name, address, tax roll number, application and/or other identifying details to assist staff).

Parks & Recreation

The Tecumseh Arena office will be closed Saturday, December 23 – Monday, January 1. The arena will be open for scheduled rentals on December 24 & December 26 to December 31.

Tecumseh Transit

The Tecumseh Transit Service will not be operating on Monday, December 25. On-Demand transit will continue to operate on Saturdays only (there will be no fixed route service on Saturdays). Information on the transit bus schedule and route map can be found on the Town's website.

Recycling / Yard Waste Collection

Due to the holiday, garbage collection will be moved to Friday, December 29 and recycling collection will be moved to Saturday, January 6. Please refer to your 2023 Waste Collection Calendar for more information. The 2024 Collection Calendar will be distributed in January 2024.
