Election Complaints
Complaints regarding the 2026 Election are to be made pursuant to the Town's Election Complaints Policy No. 140.
To respond to complaints, the Election Official requires the following:
- Your name, mailing address, telephone number and email.
- If you are submitting the complaint on behalf of another person or organization, please also include the name of that person or organization (the complainant) and their contact information (mailing address, telephone number, e-mail address).
- A factual description of the events, circumstances or actions that you believe gave rise to the alleged contravention.
Please include specific dates, places and/or documents that you believe are relevant. This information will enable the Town to assess your complaint; without it, assessment of your complaint may be delayed.
Keep in mind:
- The passage of time may significantly affect the Town's ability to deal with a complaint.
- Complaints regarding threats or intimidation allegedly made against persons who are not Town Staff are to be reported directly to police authorities.
Supporting Documents
If you have supporting documentation that you wish to submit with your complaint and are unable to upload same with the form, you may send them using one of the following channels. Be sure to include your contact information.
