The Power OFF and Playground program is made possible thanks to the support of the Windsor-Essex Healthy Kids Community Challenge.

Since 2016, the Town of Tecumseh has been part of the Windsor-Essex Healthy Kids Community Challenge; one of 45 communities across Ontario awarded a Provincial grant to promote healthy eating, physical activity and healthy lifestyle choices for children.  The final theme of the grant program is all about helping children and families build a balanced day that is not filled with screen time.  “Screen time” is the time spent using a screen-based device, such as a smartphone, tablet, computer or TV.
