Roads, Bridge and Culvert Needs Studies
The Town of Tecumseh's Roads Needs Study provides an overview of the condition of Tecumseh's road system. The Roads Needs Study includes the following:
- An inventory of all roads and railway crossings;
- Traffic counts;
- An evaluation of the pavement condition;
- An estimate of the expected timing, scope and cost of the required road improvements to address roadway deficiencies; and
- A five-year road maintenance plan.
The Town of Tecumseh's Bridge and Culvert Needs Study was carried out in 2020 for 18 bridge and culvert structures with spans greater than 3.0 metres, including two pedestrian bridges, located in the Town of Tecumseh. This report summarizes the findings of the study and identifies the required improvements to structures which are currently deficient or are likely to become deficient within a ten-year period from the time of this report.
A Needs Study was carried out in 2016 for the approximately seventy-one (71) culvert structures having spans equal to or less than 3.0 metres located in the Town of Tecumseh. This report summarizes the findings of the study and identifies required improvements to the structures which are currently deficient or will likely become significantly deficient within a ten-year study period from the time of this report.
