In 2014, the Town of Tecumseh was recognized as the “Best Festival City” for a Town under the population of 200,000 by Festivals & Events Ontario. The fun continues for 2015. Be sure to join in on all the events happening in our own back yard.
Summer Concerts In The Park
Come out and enjoy an exciting lineup of musical entertainment, artistic presentations and family entertainment. Bring along a blanket or a lawn chair and enjoy an afternoon in the beautiful setting of the WFCU Square at Lakewood Park.

40th Annual Tecumseh Corn Festival
August 27 – 30 at Lacasse Park
Join Nibby the Corncob for fantastic family entertainment, contests and activities including a vendor village, mid-way carnival, festival tent, the Miss Tecumseh Pageant, the “Largest Small Town Parade” and of course delicious hot-buttered corn on the cob. 2nd Annual Skateboarding Competition
Saturday, September 5 at Tecumseh Skate Park
Great prizes to be won. Registration starts at 10:00 a.m. Competition starts at 11:00 a.m. Competition age categories: 13 & under, 14-18, 19+.
Event categories: Line and Best Trick. Helmets are required to compete.

Tecumseh BIA Fall Into Health Day
Saturday, September 5 at Lakewood Park

2nd Annual Disc Golf Tournament
Saturday, September 19 at Lakewood Park

Tecumseh Terry Fox Run
September 20 at Green Acres Optimist Park
Inspired by a dream, grounded in tradition, volunteer-driven. Participate in the annual Terry Fox Run for cancer research. Participate as an individual, as a family, or as a team.
