The Tecumseh Police Services Board By-law and Fire Alarm By-law covering alarms requires an annual registration fee of $25.00 due by January 1st of each year.

The Police Services and Fire Services will each respond to two (2) “at fault false alarms” to any registered premises with an alarm during each calendar year without charge to the premises.

A charge in the amount of $100.00 will be imposed with respect to Police Services and a charge of $485.00 per hour with respect to Fires Services on:

  • The premises owner/occupier of any registered premises for the third or any subsequent “at fault false alarms”, or
  • The premises owner/occupier of any unregistered premises for each “at fault false alarm” within each calendar year.

Please ensure you have indicated whether there is a Fire Alarm and/or Police Alarm on the premises.

If you have other companies on your premises, please indicate on the application form and include $25.00 for each business.
